The third edition of Geneva Cyber Week will take place from 26 to 30 April 2027 in Geneva, Switzerland.
Founded by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR) and the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA), Geneva Cyber Week welcomes the World Economic Forum as a co-organizer for its latest edition.
Supported by Geneva’s broader digital and cybersecurity community, the initiative serves as a global platform for collaboration on key issues shaping the future of cyberspace.
The programme will foster inclusive dialogue and practical cooperation across governments, industry, academia and civil society.
Geneva Cyber Week 2027 will explore three interconnected themes addressing key challenges and priorities in cybersecurity:
Cyber diplomacy: From global commitments to national action. Advancing international cyber cooperation and translating global commitments into national action.
Human security and digital trust. Protecting people online by advancing human rights, digital trust and societal resilience.
Systemic cyber resilience. Strengthening resilience across critical infrastructure, supply chains and the wider cyber ecosystem.
These themes bring together the policy, analytical and operational dimensions of international cybersecurity. Emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, will be considered as cross-cutting issues shaping each dimension.
Event organizers are invited to submit proposals from 3 November to 15 December 2026.
The third edition of Geneva Cyber Week will take place from 26 to 30 April 2027 in Geneva, Switzerland. Most events will be hosted at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG).
Founded by UNIDIR and FDFA, Geneva Cyber Week welcomes WEF as a co-organizer for the 2027 edition. Supported by Geneva’s broader digital and cybersecurity community, it provides a global platform for collaboration on issues shaping the future of cyberspace.
Event organizers are invited to submit proposals through the designated submission form. Organizers are encouraged to provide all requested information to facilitate programme planning and venue coordination.
The Secretariat will review submissions and coordinate room allocations and scheduling. Every effort will be made to accommodate organizers’ preferences, although final arrangements will depend on overall programme requirements and venue availability. Organizers proposing similar events may be invited to collaborate.
The Secretariat will review submissions and address scheduling overlaps by 31 January 2027. Organizers will be informed of their allocated date, time and venue in early February and will have one week to confirm their participation.
The Geneva Cyber Week agenda is expected to be published in March 2027, subject to confirmation.
Events hosted at the CICG will be listed on the website, with centralized registration arrangements to facilitate participant access and venue coordination. Events hosted elsewhere may also be listed to support their visibility and promote engagement across the wider programme.
